You can’t believe that these would be
so light and tasty but they are.
4 - 5 cups
Bisquick, plus extra for rolling out
1 cup sour
cream
1 cup 7-Up
½ cup melted
butter
Mix Bisquick
(start with 4 cups), sour cream and 7-Up.
Add more Bisquick to make a slightly moist dough. Dough will be very soft but don’t worry. Sprinkle the counter or a tea towel with more
Bisquick. Put the dough on the Bisquick
and fold dough until it is coated with the baking mix. Be careful not to over knead. Pat dough out to about ¾ inch thick and cut
with a round 2-inch cutter. Melt butter
in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Place biscuits on top of melted butter and bake at 425º for 12 – 15
minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm
with butter and jam. Makes 20 biscuits
and about 12 one inch little ones.
